Carrie Burdy: Office Manager. Carrie has been with the company for 7 years and oversees all the clerical activities, account receivables, and account payables. She is also Human Resource manager.

Cathy Brake, Inside Sales and Customer Support. Cathy joins us with 16 years of industry experience with Lennox and most recently of Trane.
She holds her degree from Penn State University making her the third Penn Stater in our organization.  Much of her drive  and experience comes from being raised in the HVAC industry by her father Tom Plocki. At Lennox her positions ranged from order entry, inside and outside sales along with project management. 

Randy Heide: Sales. 26+ year experience in the HVAC distribution industry. Randy has extensive experience in both the residential and commercial HVAC markets with Trane Company (Residential, Commercial and National Accounts), GBG and Black & White Engineering. Randy also has a strong background in sales and marketing and holds a Masters Degree in leadership from Duquesne University and is based out of our Pittsburgh location. He also fills in as our network administrator and IT specialist.

Christopher Mottinger: Customer support. Chris’s duties are to take-off, quote and track all commercial, institutional and industrial projects generated through Reed Construction, our web-based provider of plan room services. Chris also provides parts and equipment quotations.

John Mottinger: President. Second generation owner with over 29 years experience. John is based out of our Pittsburgh Headquarters and covers all of the Mottinger territories. ASHRAE member. Featured speaker and trainer at various industry events Attended Carnegie Mellon and Amherst Colleges before joining company in 1976.

Tom Plocki: Inside Support. Tom is a 35 year veteran of the HVAC industry. He is well known through out market with his 30 years of service with Lennox as branch manager covering Upstate New York, Western and Central PA and Eastern Ohio. Tom is also a member of ASHRAE and an associate member of ACCA.

Andy Smith: Outside Sales Upstate New York Andy has joined our ranks Dec 3 of 2007. He has 17 years of sales experience in the HVACR industry with most of that time was spent covering New York State as a Manufacturers’ Representative.  He also has worked at the manufacturing level as both a Regional and National Sales Manager.

Mark Smith: Inside Sales. Mark has been with the company for 12 years and is the main contact for inside sales quotes, equipment selections and submittal service. He is also the principal contact with the Titan Air products and the large custom (AEB, PCB) Reznor units.

Wayne Warren: Sales. Sales. 28 + years of experience selling applied HVAC solutions for residential, commercial and institutional applications. Before coming to Mottinger, Wayne worked for Weil McLain and Lochinvar Corp in sales and applications. Wayne was also an instructor of hydronic system design & HVAC electrical  control systems at Delaware County Community College. Wayne is an associate member of ASHRAE Philadelphia Chapter and is based out of our Philadelphia office.

John Wszalek: Sales. John has over 27 years experience in the HVAC industry. Graduating from Penn State, he began his career at York- Borg Warner. He also has worked for Johnson Controls, Robert Arnold Associates and Peirce Phelps.  John is ASHRAE certified in: HVAC Basics, Advanced Design, HVAC Controls. And is a graduate of the Hydronic Institute. John is based out of our Philadelphia office.
